We’re looking for a Junior to Mid-level IT Administrator to join our team. You will play a key role in supporting and maintaining the company's IT infrastructure, ensuring that servers, networks, and systems operate smoothly and securely. You’ll work closely with the internal team of IT professionals, project managers, and other departments to ensure that business technology needs are met and that security and performance standards are upheld. In this role, you'll demonstrate a solid understanding of IT operations, problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to supporting both technical and user needs across the organization. 

Ps: candidates with Prior experience in the VFX industry are highly considered.

Requirements

  • Install, configure, and maintain servers, including physical and virtual environments.
  • Perform regular software updates, patches, and upgrades to ensure server security and stability.
  • Monitor server performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize server resources as needed.
  • Implement backup and recovery strategies to safeguard critical data and ensure business continuity.
  • Set up and manage network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
  • Configure network protocols, IP addresses, and DNS settings to ensure reliable connectivity.
  • Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and optimize network traffic for efficiency.
  • Implement security measures such as access controls, encryption, and intrusion detection systems to protect network assets.
  • Provide technical support and assistance to end-users regarding hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Troubleshoot user-reported problems, diagnose root causes, and implement solutions or escalate as necessary.
  • Create and maintain user accounts, permissions, and access controls according to security policies.
  • Train users on IT systems, tools, and best practices to enhance productivity and minimize disruptions.
  • Develop and enforce IT security policies, procedures, and guidelines to protect against unauthorized access, data breaches, and cyber threats.
  • Conduct regular security audits, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing to identify and address security weaknesses.
  • Respond to security incidents, breaches, and emergencies in a timely manner, following incident response protocols and coordinating with relevant stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and best practices related to IT operations and security.
  • Participate in audits, assessments, and compliance reviews, providing documentation and evidence as needed.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute IT projects and initiatives, such as system upgrades, migrations, and deployments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Monitor project progress, track milestones, and communicate updates to stakeholders to ensure project success.

Educational Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Proven experience as a System Administrator or similar role in IT operations.
  • Proficiency in operating systems (e.g., Windows Server, Linux/Unix), virtualization technologies, and network protocols.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues promptly.
  • Knowledge of IT security principles, practices, and tools, including firewalls, antivirus software, and encryption.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Certification in relevant technologies (e.g., Microsoft Certified System Administrator, Cisco Certified Network Associate) is a plus.
